Handy to pack your own can opener and plastic drinking glasses. When planning grocery list please shop for items in plastic bottles or cans and try not to bring glass bottles.
Keep in mind that certain items are considered dangerous goods that we can not fly in the plane. For example can’t fly bear bangers, mace, flares, batane, strike anywhere match. Bring safety matches. Gas, propane and naphtha must be transported according to specific instructions. Only certain type of battery can be flown and according to specific instruction; we can discuss this further first hand.
Please remember that you are responsible to tidy and clean the camp before the plane or boat arrives for your return to the base. Please make sure the dishes are washed and put away and the fridge has been cleaned out. Please do not leave any food in the camp when you leave. There is a broom, dust pan, mop at the camp for your use - please sweep the floor and give it a mop. All pitch in for a comfortable, clean and safe environment.
Please pack sufficient number of sturdy garbage bags because garbage must come out with you. There is a propane BBQ - always fun to gather round and enjoy conversation and laughs while preparing for delicious food around the BBQ. Just a reminder to clean off the BBQ after using it and make sure no food remains outside also to shut off the gas at tank.
Please pass this information along to the rest of your group so they can also prepare, thank you.
Check our web page for camp status or call and we will discuss first hand what to bring and what is included.
Reminder:
Once at the camp DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS.
Bad weather will delay boat services.
